Context: ApplyPass was a standalone venture built inside Outco, with its own team and infrastructure

The product

ApplyPass helped software engineers find jobs and apply to them automatically. Engineers were applying to hundreds of roles by hand; the product did that work for them.

What I owned

The product roadmap and release planning
A team of five: three engineers and two product marketers — assigning and tracking work, running planning, holding the delivery cadence
The engineering backlog: writing it, scoping work with engineers, tracking delivery to launch

The honest version

This was six months and my only formal PM title. The roadmap and the delivery were mine. Discovery was not — that sat elsewhere in the company, and I am not going to claim it.
